Deep Meaning · English

In this profound verse, Krishna unveils the mystery of His relationship with the universe, bridging the gap between the Transcendent Absolute and the Immanent Lord. He describes Himself as 'avyakta-mūrtinā'—the Unmanifest Form that pervades the entire cosmos. This suggests that while we perceive a world of fragmented, distinct objects, the underlying reality is a seamless tapestry woven by the Divine. Just as the ocean pervades the wave, the Divine Presence is the subtle, invisible substratum upon which the entire manifest world rests, existing simultaneously beyond the reach of sensory perception and deep within the heart of existence.

The Divine is the silent, pervasive ground of all being that sustains the universe without being limited or confined by the objects It supports.
