Deep Meaning · English
In this verse, Krishna unveils the profound law of spiritual gravitation: the soul inevitably gravitates toward that which it holds as its highest ideal. The universe is not a chaotic expanse but an ordered resonance where our inner focus dictates our outer destination. By equating worship with an act of 'becoming,' Krishna explains that the mind, through constant preoccupation with an object or deity, undergoes a structural transformation. Whether one seeks the limited powers of the celestial spheres, the comfort of familial ancestors, or the raw expressions of elemental forces, the seeker eventually merges with the nature of their chosen focus.
We are fundamentally the architects of our own afterlife and spiritual evolution, as the heart's deepest yearning inevitably draws the soul into the presence of that which it has consistently adored.
