Wherever Krishna, the Lord of Yoga, is; and wherever Arjuna, the wielder of the bow, is; there is prosperity, victory, happiness, and a firm policy; this is my conviction.

Deep Meaning · English

In this profound moment of the Vishwarupa Darshana, Arjuna moves beyond seeing Krishna as his friend and charioteer to recognizing Him as the ontological foundation of existence. Arjuna declares Krishna to be the 'Adi-deva' or the primordial source from which all divinity originates, and the 'Purana Purusha', the timeless consciousness that existed before the dawn of creation. This realization shatters the illusion of time and space, revealing that the Supreme Lord is not merely a witness to the universe, but the very substratum—the 'Nidhanam' or the final repository—into which all phenomena eventually dissolve. By identifying Krishna as both the 'Vetta' (the Knower) and the 'Vedya' (the Known), Arjuna acknowledges the collapse of the subject-object duality; the seeker, the seeking, and the Truth become one inseparable reality. Krishna is the underlying canvas upon which the infinite forms of the universe are painted. He is the immanent essence that permeates every atom and the transcendent 'Dhama' that remains untouched by the shifting tides of manifestation. This is the hallmark of Advaitic realization expressed through the language of Bhakti: that the One has become the Many, yet remains eternally One, and that to know Krishna is to know the core of one's own self.

The seeker recognizes that the Divine is not a distant object of inquiry but the all-pervading substratum, the knower, and the ultimate destination of all existence.
